Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PRP contains high concentrations of platelets, which are essential for clotting blood and repairing the body. Platelets also release growth factors, stimulating stem cells to repair and produce new healthy tissue.

This treatment involves the collection of your blood (approximately 8-16ml) from your arm. The blood is spun using a centrifuge to separate the plasma and platelet portion, utilising the Regen gel as a special filter. The PRP portion is then injected back into your skin to stimulate new collagen production and re-energise your cells into rejuvenating themselves.

PRP may be activated with calcium chloride. The product injected is 100% your own blood by-product (autologous), so there is no risk of disease transmission or allergies. Local anaesthesia is provided.

Alongside our PRP treatment, we provide a comprehensive range of medical grade skin treatments, including Vivace, Sciton broadband light, Sciton BBL Hero, Sciton BBL Forever Young, Sciton Moxi, Sciton BBL SkinTyte and HIFU. These treatments promote a revitalised complexion by enhancing your skin’s natural features.

  • Improvement of skin texture by revitalising and regenerating the dermis, reducing wrinkles and fine lines, fading dark circles, hair loss (alopecia areata), acne scars, stretch marks or as a supplement to other treatments such as laser, BBL or skin needling.
  • Treatment areas may include cheeks and mid-face, around the eyes (peri-orbital rim), jawline, neck, back of the hands and décolletage.
  • Over several weeks, platelets will stimulate growth factors, which will assist in collagen growth. This process continues in the skin for up to 12 months after treatment.
  • A skin consultation is required prior to treatment for new patients. The consultation.
  • Cost is redeemable on treatment.
