Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)

PLATELET RICH PLASMA (PRP )

PRP contains high concentrations of platelets, which are important for clotting our blood and repairing our body. Platelets also release 'growth factor' which stimulates stem cells to repair and produce new healthy tissue.

This treatment involves the collection of your blood (approximately 8-16ml) from your arm. Your blood is spun using a centrifuge to separate out the plasma and platelet portion using the 'Regen gel' as a special filter. The PRP portion of your blood is then injected back into your skin to stimulate new collagen production, and to re-energise your cells into rejuvenating themselves. The PRP may be activated with Calcium Chloride. The product injected is 100% your own blood by-product (autologous), so there is no danger of disease transmission or allergies. Local Anaesthesia is provided.

Recommended For:

Improvement of skin texture by revitalising and regenerating the dermis, reduction of wrinkles and fine lines, fading of dark circles, for hair loss (alopecia areata), acne scars, stretch marks or as a supplement to other treatments such as laser, BBL or skin needling. Treatment areas may include Cheeks and mid-face, around the eyes - peri orbital rim, jaw line, neck, back of the hands, decolletage.

Over a few weeks, platelets will stimulate growth factors, which will assist in collagen growth. This process will continue in the skin for up to 12 months after treatment.

A skin consultation is required prior to treatment for new patients. Cost redeemable on treatment

Pricing starts at $425
